The branding for the new book festival takes visitors into a world of its own, with its own narrative. Just as readers are transported into the world of a book or a story.
Reading itself is also a very broad concept. It ranges from novels and poetry, to travel- and cookbooks, to comics and graphic novels. You don't just read in a book, but also on your smartphone or an e-reader. That is why the emphasis was placed on ‘reading’ and not on the medium ‘book’. To highlight this diversity, a dynamic branding was developed consisting of letters that adapt to the available surface of the poster or screen. This way, each variant looks different, but remains recognizable.
